Baskonia eSports is a Spanish eSports organization. Baskonia eSports (formerly known as Baskonia Atlantis) was integrated under Spanish basketball team Saski Baskonia on January 7th, 2016 with competitors in Counter-Strike, FIFA, Hearthstone, League of Legends, and NBA 2K. On February 17th, Baskonia entered Call of Duty, upon signing the team of FlexZ, GameR, GoobZ, and peLukka. For information about their League of Legends team, see their page on LoL Esportspedia.

History

Baskonia eSports was announced on January 7th, 2016, as an esports division fully integrated under Spanish basketball team Saski Baskonia with rosters in Counter-Strike, FIFA, Hearthstone, League of Legends, and NBA 2K. On February 17th, Baskonia announced the signing of a Call of Duty team, consisting of FlexZ, GameR, GoobZ, and peLukka. GoobZ left the team and subsequently announced his retirement from competitive gaming on March 5th. Three days later, Baskonia signed former Giants Gaming player, EupHo.
